Mix | tray buffering module
Tray buffering module

Challenges Addressed
- Compact system for material accumulation, easily integrated into existing lines
- Simplified management of storage and temporary buffering (adjustable dwell time), fully integrated into the production cycle
- Handling of individual parts with high access and retrieval frequency
- Flow regulation within the production line based on maximum buffer capacity and/or a “machine ready” signal from upstream equipment
Proposed Solution
Automatic tray-based storage system acting as the backbone of the entire line, enabling automated coordination of logistics and just-in-time operations by harmonizing all flows required for different processes. With proprietary software, materials automatically flow from the machining center to the storage system within a fully integrated production process. Tray handling is performed by a transfer shuttle capable of transporting one tray at a time.
Solution Advantages
- Ideal for material storage in high-throughput production lines
- Organized storage of small parts or individual items in trays
- Low-complexity management integrated with the machining center or its production cycle
- Stand-alone or fully integrated solution
